Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QR Fire mobile application (the "App") provided by Black Flame Digital LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

  • You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You agree to use the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • You may not misuse the App, attempt to access it using automated means, or interfere with its normal operation.

2. Scanned Content and Links

  • QR codes and barcodes are created by third parties. We don't control or check what they contain, and showing their content doesn't mean we endorse it.
  • The App warns about some risky links, such as unencrypted pages, raw IP addresses and look-alike addresses. These warnings are a convenience, not a guarantee: a link without a warning can still be unsafe.
  • Be careful before opening links, connecting to Wi-Fi networks, making payments or entering personal details based on a scanned code.
  • Websites and apps you open from the App are provided by others, and their own terms and policies apply. We are not responsible for them.
  • Product barcode searches open a web search and are for general information only.

3. Remove Ads and Purchases

  • The App offers an optional Remove Ads upgrade, available as a one-time purchase, that removes ads.
  • Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are tied to the account you buy with. You can restore a purchase in the App under Settings.
  • All payments, refunds, and cancellations are handled by the relevant app store, not by us.
  • Prices and availability of Remove Ads may change at any time.

4. Advertising

  • The free version of the App displays ads provided by Google AdMob.
  • We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any products or services they promote.

5. Ownership and License

  • The App and all associated content, trademarks, and software are owned by Black Flame Digital LTD or its licensors.
  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

6. User Content

  • The App lets you save scans, add labels and notes, and create QR codes.
  • You retain ownership of your data. You are responsible for the accuracy of any data you provide and for the QR codes you create and share, including making sure you have the right to share their content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, able to read every code, or meet your requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Flame Digital LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App, the content of codes you scan, or websites and apps you open from it.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months prior to the claim (if any).

9. Changes to the App or Terms

  • We may modify or discontinue the App at any time.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.
  • You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
