This policy explains what personal information Black Flame Digital collects when you use blackflamedigital.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and respond to enquiries.
Black Flame Digital is a company registered in England & Wales (company number 11861684). We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@blackflamedigital.com.
Contact enquiries. When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you provide, so we can read and reply to your enquiry. Submissions are delivered to us by email through our email provider (Postmark).
Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from) so we can improve it. This is aggregated, statistical data. If you do not accept, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
We do not load any analytics or marketing cookies until you accept them via the banner. The only cookie set before that point is a strictly necessary one that remembers your choice.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| bfd_analytics_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies | 180 days | Strictly necessary |
| _ga | Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors | 2 years | Analytics (only if accepted) |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics — maintains session state | 2 years | Analytics (only if accepted) |
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies (which you can withdraw at any time), and on our legitimate interests — and steps taken at your request — to respond to enquiries you send us through the contact form.
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@blackflamedigital.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Analytics cookies: no choice made yet.
You can change your choice at any time. This clears your saved preference and shows the cookie banner again.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
